Product Overview
IAI RCON-PC-2 is a two-axis pulse motor driver unit designed for the modular IAI RCON controller platform. It controls two compatible IAI pulse motor electric actuators while operating together with an RCON gateway unit, power-supply components and other driver modules installed in the same controller assembly.
The modular structure allows several actuator axes to be integrated into one compact control system. Communication between the RCON driver units and the upper-level PLC is managed through the installed gateway, so the available industrial network depends on the gateway configuration used in the machine.

Related IAI family model: RCON-SC-1. This model belongs to the same modular RCON controller platform but uses a different driver and motor-control configuration. RCON-SC-1 is included for related-model coverage only and is not automatically interchangeable with RCON-PC-2.
Confirm the complete model, motor type, number of controlled axes, connected actuator, gateway configuration, firmware, connectors and stored parameters before selecting a replacement module.
Compatible Systems and Applications
RCON-PC-2 is suitable for automated assembly stations, component-transfer systems, inspection equipment, packaging machinery, loading mechanisms and production cells requiring two pulse motor actuator axes. The axes may operate independently or as part of a coordinated machine sequence.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
Before removing the installed driver unit, record its mounting position within the RCON assembly and photograph all connectors and adjacent modules. Back up the gateway configuration, actuator parameters and position data whenever communication with the original system remains available.
Do not substitute RCON-PC-2 with an RCON-PC single-axis unit, RCON-PCF high-thrust unit or RCON-SC servo driver solely because the enclosure is similar. Verify actuator compatibility, axis configuration, firmware and module arrangement before installation.
