IAI RCP2-C-SA5-I-PM-0 is a single-axis controller designed for a matching IAI RCP2-SA5 pulse motor electric actuator. It controls programmed actuator positions, speed, acceleration, deceleration and home-return operation according to commands from the machine PLC and data stored in the controller.

Related IAI model: RCP2-C-RSW-I-PM-0. This controller belongs to the same RCP2-C family and uses incremental feedback, a pulse motor and 24 VDC power, but it is matched to a different actuator mechanism.

RCP2-C-SA5-I-PM-0 is suitable for compact assembly machinery, component-transfer mechanisms, inspection fixtures, indexing stations, packaging systems and production equipment fitted with a matching RCP2-SA5 actuator.
Actual actuator stroke, lead, speed, payload and mounting configuration must be confirmed from the actuator nameplate. The controller model alone does not identify every mechanical specification of the connected axis.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
Back up the original position data, motion settings and system parameters before replacement whenever possible. Record the PLC I/O assignments, actuator direction, home position, travel limits and all connector locations.
Do not substitute an SA6, RSW or another actuator-code controller solely because the RCP2-C enclosure appears identical. The actuator type is part of the controller configuration and must match the installed mechanical axis.
IAI identifies RCP2-C as a discontinued controller platform and lists PCON-CB as the successor direction. Conversion should be evaluated as a system change rather than an automatic controller swap.
